I have a sierra 1.8 cvh carb and manifold and have been asked if it will fit a 1.8 cvh injection head ?

Any ideas as ive never had an injected cvh sierra.

Yes the head will fit.

The manifold will sort of fit the head.
The gasket face on the injection head has cut outs to clear the spray from the injectors, the carb manifold and gasket dosen't quite cover them completely.

Four options to deal with this
(1) Get the head builit up with weld and reshape the port.

(2) Make a sandwich plate up to sit between the manifold and head

(3) Use epoxy metal to build up the head.

(4) Use a XR3 carb head.

I had wandered if it was a single point injection like the fiesta's. And the same manifold.
