You may have seen that I have got my first kit-car this weekend - A 4 year old Indy with Pinto 2.0l setup. I am very new to the whole kit car scene,
and have limited mechanical knowledge, but that will change
Having looked over the car I have a few small niggles / issues that I would like to fix, nothing major.
The first is that the Car has the Sierra clocks installed, but does not have the fuel gauge working. As far as I can tell (and I may be wrong here)
it appears that the wires are in place at the fuel tank, but there is no sender unit installed. The tank is plastic, so is this an easy job to get a
sender unit installed - I guess it may be worth checking the wiring and gauge first with some type of diags test ? Have Q's on a couple of other
things, but will start a new thread for them, so they dont get lost in here.
Cheers

Fitting a sender is easy enough, but I'd think about whether you want to change the Sierra clocks before you change anything.

Are the Sierra clocks seen as a bad idea?
