Next year I will be working in barcelona for a while and I am hoping to take the locost with me. In preparation for this I have been working on upgrading the cooling system from the expansion tank setup, to a proper header tank. I have also fitted a 21 row oil cooler on a 82 degree stat and a remote oil filter.

I plan on doing a couple of extra euro trips next year - hopefully the car will now be able to cope with the heat if the weather is anything like this years trips!!

Shaun is it just me or is your oil thermostat plumbed in the right way? it looks like oil flows through the cooler even when the oil is cold?

You can plumb it one of two ways - the way i have it set up is the way you would on a mini that has no room for the pipework!
