Light weight IRS diff

Hi People,

i am looking for a light weight diff to use in a IRS setup....

sierra diff seems a bit heavy duty.... anyone know of a simlar unit that is lighter....

Freelander is used by quite a few BECs. Smaller than Sierra and lighter due to it's ally housing. 3.21/1 ratio.

Its lighter, but the sierra diff is all ali too.

this will be for a trike project, so would like it to be as light as possible without costing the earth...will look at the freelander diff.... see what ebay has to offer....

any others i should look at ???

I seem to recal that the BMW diff from about 20 yrs ago was pretty light.

Mazda MX5 diff.
(but has a funny mounting arrangement)
