Hi all.....plan to fit new sump gasket at the weekend to Zetec Silvertop. Have shortened Dunnell Racing Sump & pickup. Engine is on a stand. Any advice / tips before I start would be much appreciated as I don't want to have to do it again!!

I stick mine into the sump with blue hylomar, just to stop it moving when fitting as they tend to jump out, then thin smear on top of gasket bolt up job done.
