My home made fuel tank has some small pin holes in the mig welds.
I have sealed all where the baffles are welded in but there are three/four where i can not get near to weld.
If i get some Slosh Fuel sealer, should i also do the chemical clean or just make sure no dust in the tank then just seal it?
Its not had anything in the tank other then air to pressure test.
I've heard of those internal sealers coming adrift - if its still empty then try JB Weld - better than smelly stuff on a blanket..
Im confused if youve made the tank why cant you get to the same point to weld it ??
There is a petro patch that you can buy. I wouldnt trust any of the sealers patces etc as over time theres a good chance they will lift
The welds that now got a pin hole is inside the tank and was done with acetalyne.
