paul_mcq - 13/4/04 at 06:03 PM

i'm planning on getting a stage 3 or 4 turbo head for a mini 1275 turbo engine. wat do they do to the heads to make them better. and is it a good idea to get on of these heads?????????????????

With a turbo head mods won't show up as much as with a N/A engine as your forcing the air in anyway, yup they will make a difference but not as much as winding boost up a little,

if your rolling in dosh fine, if not spend elsewhere IMO.

Paul, you are talking serious money.
The processes involved are usually
Bigger inlet and exhaust valves,
Opening up of the ports,
Gas flowing the lot.

THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!

Get a bigger engine, cost you less in the long run, but then I guess if it's FOR a mini you are a bit tight on space.

Actually TECHNOLOGY is the only replacement for displacement.

..or as Carole Shelby said "There aint no sunstitute for cubit measurements"

you can get a new front subframe (or build one!) and fit a vauxhall xe into a mini
