I've got a facet interupter pump, the original mounting plate on my car is about half way up the fuel tank (in terms of height) but over the
wrong side of the car (fuel line needs to cross the exhaust... so thats getting moved)
is the height ok? will it be fine to draw fuel up that far? i guess so, as thats where the pump used to be lol. just i'm going to put a new
mounting plate on, and didn't know if it was wrong to put it in the same place.
do new pumps come with any mounting diagrams? anyone got a copy they could scan?
My pump is about level with the top of my tank and works fine
should be alright then i guess. i always thought they should be at the bottom of the tank, but i guess half way up is ok
Pumps are a lot better at pushing fuel, rather than pulling it.
Therefore the pump should, idealy, be lower that the tank, and as close to it as possible.
