I need to start again with my Megajolt on MAP for the new engine.
I believe my load bins should go from 0 to 102Kpa and the rev bins from 500 to 8000.

Should i have them equadistant ie +10 load per bin and +800rpm or do i need some rev and load bins closer for better resolution at those points.
Also some guidance on what the map should look like for a serious Pinto

I would do the same as you do with megasquirt.

Group the bins closer together around your cruising area.

The last 1/3rd of throttle needs only a couple of lines.

I ran with megajolt and map sensing for some time, I would set the lowest line at just above the lowest vac you get on overrun, then set some bins just below and just above idle and the remaining between about 75 kpa and 100kpa.There wont be much resolution above idle and most of the time you will be near 100 kpa , theres no need to set a row at 103 as it would never get used normal atmospheric is about 98 to 99 kpa.
You will need to couple all the carbs and use a small reservoir to smooth the signal.

Forgot to say if you get it running reasonably you can then data log or watch real time with the tuning software.
