Does anyone have a metal plate that sits beween the engine and gearbox on a type 9 to zetec engine? I would like to buy one.
I believe you can buy these from ford, although you normally have to still add bits to it to cover up the holes in the bell housing.
Why don't you make your own from a thin (1mm) sheet of aluminium or steel. If you stand your T9 on it and draw around the bell housing, then cut
it out. You will then have to remove some of the middle so it will fit onto the back of the engine.
Hi, I dont have one dont even know if theres one that fits possibly a cvh one but thats just a guess
you can make your own from a bit of 16 guage or get one thats not quite right and add to modify etc
by the way they are commonly called a sandwich plate and are more like a gasket so you dont have a cast bellhousing directly in contact with a soild
cast block as this can cause the bellhousing to fracture
youll find that many cars with alloy bellhousings dont use one
hope this helps
