how hard is it to rebuild a type 9?

ive been looking at cost saving and saw on the BGH website that they do the kits, looking at the E2 Heavy duty kit.

Its not difficult, you need some large circlip pliers and some pin punches and some large sockets.

You just need to be careful and pay particular attention to how everything comes apart.

just had one done
when i looked at the price of the seals and bearings, plus any bits that may have been dead, or i would maybe kill, i decided 250 quid garentee'd was not actually that bad

£250, was that just for a box rebuild or did it include all bearings seals etc?

Alex, have you got a sierrra haynes book ?

its in there - even though I'm sure it'll be missing the one pic/diagram you need, just like everything in those books
(it'll give you a fair idea though)
