hi all,

when slowing to a stop in the tintop sometimes the revs drop really low, its now died twice in the last few days as a result, anyone know what this may be? other than this the car drives fine?

What car?

They also suffer from air leakes around the egr. Spay some wd40 around the hosses and sea if the revs pick up.

Is this your budget mondeo ?

Almost certainly the EGR valve carboned up.

Typical Vauxhall clean or better blank off the EGR valve and clean the idle control valve.
And clean the breathers.

With the Corsa I would advise using only fully synthetic 5w/30 in the sump it reduces the carbonisation problems these engine tend suffer from.

Unlikely to be the crank sensor as the engine is stalling because the revs are dropping too low.
With crank sensor failure the engine just stops dead.
