As per title really, there is abit of movement on my input shaft and i would rather rebuild it now, when its not installed in the car!
Using one of these kits here, does anyone know what its like to do?here

Its normal to have some movement on the input shaft

They arent that difficult to rebuild. You'll need some gear pullers, pin punches and some large circlip pliers though.

You will need some circlip pliers, and I found a good blow lamp to heat up the casings made it easier to remove and replace the bearings. Think I did mine in a day, not a big job! I would agree with David though, regarding the movement in the drive shaft, you do get side to side movement, as one end is supported by the bearing in the flywheel, so you are just relying on one bearing without that. You need a puller to pull 5th gear off the layshaft.....

Ah! yes quite correct, long time since I did mine, but thinking about it I used a couple of tyre levers I think, certainly don't have a puller. Cheers Ray
