BPJ Services Anyone?
Nash - 10/2/10 at 10:18 PM

Evening all,
Does anyone have any experience of BPJ Services?

http://www.information.gb.com/bpjservices/frame.html

I had a long conversation today with "Paul" who was excellent and couldn't have been more helpful.

I was just wondering if my first impression was accurate?

cheers....... Neil

I have heard differing views. What are you after ?

He's nice bloke and very helpful on the phone (I've also met him at trackdays via a private club he setup previously) but sometimes I believe he falls prey to being busy with orders and projects. I've had parts from him with no issue but I've also had a cast sump that leaked even though they are supposedly all checked before shipping (by his supplier).

I used BPJ for my Cams and Trumpets.

Excellent service from Paul, very helpful and no problems what-so-ever.

I wouldn't hesitate using him again.

I bought a 4AGE off RussBout and I asked BJP to quote for

Rebuild from the crank up, new shells bearings etc., pistons inc rebore, exchange big valve head, new cams, verniers etc. 42mm Jenvey T/Bs, Omex 600 ECU fitted and maps, Bellhousing (for Type 9 box), flywheel (200mm lightened), clutch and Accusump.

So Track Pac 2 plus

We discussed the sump height and he thinks it will fit in an MK without shortening.

He quoted about 4 weeks but in fairness was up front and said when the Rally season kicks in he gets very busy so timing agreed at time of placing the order.
