I have chopped my zetec mondeo sump, do i need a baffle or is it okay without?

I have baffled mine to prevent oil surge forward these are baffled the opposite ways in a front wheel drive

I haven't got one in my Blacktop sump.

I've done two trackdays with no issues [and I've kept a careful eye on my oil pressure gauge and light].
