am after a de dion axle, just wanted to know if you could lengthen one before i buy one. i noticed the most common ones are the gts ones

First question is.. Why do you need to lengthen it?

If it's only a small increase that you are looking for it would be a lot easier to use different offset wheels.
Actually lengthening the axle tube would necessitate longer driveshafts too.

got a wider chassis, a +442

SO you going to lengthen the drive shafts too???

As far as i'm aware, the +442 use sierra track, so no need to lengthen?

The +442 is a wide chassis which is same track as sierra. I brought a 'wide' GTS de dion axle, it uses standard length sierra drive shafts. The standard (narrow)GTS de dion axle needs the drive shafts shortened...
