Zetec Spark Map

i was just wondering if anybody has a zetec spark map i could start off with.

My set-up is a 2 litre blacktop with gsxr 600 throttlebodies.

i tried extraefi.co.uk but the maps they had on the didn't seem to have spark maps

I'm using MS2 V3 Firmware V2.891 on tunerstudio

i have just written a basic ignition map for you to copy. this should point you in rough direction for most NA engines, certainly be good enough to drive the car to a rolling road




most important thing is to confirm your crank sensor is positioned correctly in relation to TDC. i have seen many engines destroyed due to this being incorrect (even by "professional" tuners) check this with a timing light, remember for wasted spark systems, the number may be double on the timing light. example: 20=10degrees. and always check on live timing rather than just the ignition map, as this will also take into account for any additonal ignition or retards for air temps, coolant temps, barometric pressures etc.
