Clutch Pedal Travel
Daddylonglegs - 14/4/10 at 11:19 AM

How much travel should I expect on the clutch pedal and operating arm? Sorted out my previous issue of a high pedal, but not sure if the pedal travels far enough. The adjuster seems to be doing it's thing, and the cable outer is tight up against the stops at each end.

It's a type-9 BTW

Just test it
switch on the engine, while depressing the clutch
if the car tries to jump forward through the garage wall you want more travel

I vcan measure mine tonight, but I guess it will depend on pedal and clutch

Put in highest gear. Foot on clutch and turn the output shaft by hand. Slowly bring clutch up and when you can no longer turn the shaft, that is your biting point.
