im currently looking at options for an engine. with sierra's now being very few im looking at other options. one of which a zzr1100 motorbike.
i have some transmission gear.

Bung the big old zed in there.
Basically you'll need the original propshaft shortening / additional UJ putting in. MK can do this for you. Then a sproket adaptor.
If you have the whole bike, then use the ignition unit, coils, loom, fuse box, fuel pump, carbs, oil cooler and engine itself.
Depending on your install, you may need to chop the sump, or install a GPZ900 one (same bolt patten, just 75mm shallower!).
Mike
and you will need an engine cradle and you may need to restrengthen your chassis if you have to chop it to fit the engine...
thanks for that. ill keep the zzr 1100 then.
Thanks all.

Think about what you want to use the car for as this may dictate your engine choice.
more than likely as a trial to build a light weight version. so maybe sva it and then use on track days.
so everything.
Despite my strong opinion, if its going to be lightweight and mainly track use, the best engine would be a... a... DAMN cant say it
Bike engine
im sorry if the last post hurt. but i know. im a believer in the (no replacement for displacement) but when you have a lightweight chassis and parts.
its worth going the bike way.
if it was my choice and not weight then i would get the V6 or V8 engine stuck in.
