The old saga raises its head again.
Well getting close to the time to run the car, but still sorting out the radiator.
I have had a quote of about £70 to recore my old radiator, so looked at finding a new one on the net.
I want one that has the over flow soldered to the filler neck.
I found this on the bay

Has anyone brought one from this supplier or brought one elsewhere and it was metal with soldered overflow?
I have emailed the seller and he believes from memory that it is soldered as its a uk made radiator.
Thanks.

£70 for a radiator that is borderline effective in a 7 anyway....... are you sure? Polo or Golf rads start for about £20 new nowadays, weigh less and are about twice as efficient... £10 quid for a header tank and another £20 for some hoses and you could have a decent cooling system!
Agree with the above, Polo mark 2 is your way to go, £20-25 off eBay
Another vote for polo rad. Does the job on my 3.6 litre and is tiny!
