Hi Guys

Im doing an order from cbs and need the water temp/fan switch. What size do i need to fit a polo rad?

And what temperature rating do i need?

Thanks
Mikkel

Note that the CBS switch is normally "on" which is a bit retarded...switches the fan off when it reaches temperature :| Also if you ring them and ask they will tell you the opposite!

I have two of the middle temperature range switches from them if you want one.

Depending on what temp you want your engine running at, I would recommend going into a motor factors and looking through the catalogue.

I got a VW temp fan switch (M20 x 1.5 IIRC) that comes on at 95 and turns off at 85 for my Polo rad. This is because I'm running a zetec and they like to keep hot, but there were various other ranges. Think it cost about £12, but know you can get them cheaper if you hunt around.

Only a suggestion!

for a polo rad dont go to CBS, any motor factor can sort you out, or even ebay.

Mine comes on at 95, and is a touch too high for a blade as they like to run cooler really.

Ive got a spare one that comes on at 95 and off at 84.
I bought it for my indy but changed it for a hotter one, hence it has been used for a while but works perfectly.
It's your's if you want it.
