Im going to fit a side draught filter http://www.dellorto.co.uk/merchandise/products_details.asp?PartNo=EMPI8737&CategoryID=16&PartsectionID=66 but as it will stick out of the bonnet how would i mask the sharp edges for IVA?

hi fit a jcs21 (i think ) its a soft filter sock then change after IVA theres some pictures in my archive to see them fitted sticking out of the bonnet
