Arent the Cossie LSD's the 7.5" version.

The XR4x4's use a 7" viscous type LSD

the cossie 4x4's (sierra, saphire & escort) have 7" 3.62 LSD's - exactly the same as the V6 XR4x4's

its the 2wd cossies that use the 7.5" 3.64 LSD's

and all of them are the viscous type

Not all 4x4's had 7" diffs.

I've had two with 7 1/2" diffs, and the local scrap yard had a couple. Early xr4's had 7 1/2" diffs. V6 4x4's had 7 1/2" diffs.

I've got a rear end setup out of a V6 C reg here now, and it's most definitely a 7 1/2" diff. Cosworths also had 7 1/2" diffs, also got one here. Anyone want the lot? Junk nowdays, seeing as Mazda is the way to go. (Expensive junk at that!)

You take your chances, Ford seemed to have a 'pick and mix' attitude.

Cheers,
Nev.
