Whats the weight of a type 9 geerbux

As above for the purpose of couriering to a fellow builder. In kgs if possible... Lbs accepted as well

They are approx 35kg with cast bellhousing from memory.

If I remember I weighed mine with a 4AGE alloy bell housing at 40kg with some oil in it.

At least I could move that one easily as the T56 on my new engine is 60kg but it's got 6 gears and will need to handle around 2-3 times the torque.

just weighed mine for you. with oil and bolts in its nearly 43 KG.

just weighed mine...

no Bellhousing, no gearleaver, no oil = 31.6kg

(its actually a BGH HD box, but they can't be that much different)
