I'm just trying to figure out how my collector is going to stay in place. It's a nice snug fit but as standard it comes with springs to hold it secure. I want to avoid using them though if i can as they would cause problems on radius test. I don't particularly want to weld it either as it's ceramic coated. Any suggestions or will it hold without anything do we reckon?
I would keep the springs and fit a radiused shield over the top. The shield may fall off later though

Is that exhaust wrap stuff classed as permanent and if so does it come off easily?
My primary pipes are not secured into the collector at all. The rear most exhaust mount stops the exhaust moving backwards and allowing the collector
to slip off the primarys.
So if it's just for IVA I wouldn't be too worried about them falling off.
Post some pics.
