Does anyone think a Garret GT1752 would be any good on a zetec and would it mount to a rs turbo exhaust manifold?
isnt that a little small?
Not sure - They tend to fit them on the saabs
That's like really small
I'd do the math as http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/tech_center/turbo_tech103.html recommends
I'm pretty sure you'll be on the limits of the turbo though, even to develop 180hp.
Edit, like tom's and my 2l SR20DET uses a T25 turbo for 205bhp, so that's already a lot bigger.

weve just fitted the standard Escort rs turbo to a 2 litre zetec, and will be hoping for around 270 brake once dave walker has mapped it. It was
running around 180 brake on the 1.6 lump with a chipped ecu.
We got it fired up today started first time, not bad for a completely fresh build. the car looks mint as well. So beware of a white series 2 RS Turbo
in a village near you
Does anyone know what sort of power i would get with this turbo on a 2.0 zetec,
you would be better with a garrett GT2052 for modest power. Watch you dont get a diesel variable geometry one as it wont stand the heat.
TBH though id be going for a Td04-15g from a volvo t5 which will do 300bhp and 270 all day long. (about £50 on ebay when they come up)

with respect that's rubbish - it's not a big problem to get 260bhp out of a 2.0 lpt Saab with a factory standard T17 turbo. It's only the ecu map that makes a lpt Saab a lpt Saab - change the map and.......

Don't have to look round the web - had one, done it, as have a lot of other people
. I now have a 2.0 litre Saab 95 with a B205 engine and a
TD04 Aero spec turbo, stage 2 ecu etc etc on it and to be honest, although ultimately quicker it's actually no more fun most of the time than the
stage 1 ecu with the smaller turbo that still kicked out 225bhp and 300+ lb/ft torque...... how much power do you want!? lol
