as title really i went for a blast last night and im sure my can has got noisier, got a track day coming up so im going to repack it better safe than sorry. Its a mmk 6inch can which i can repack with ease but whats the best gear to use and where do i get it from. Just out of interest how often are people repacking theres mines done about a thousand road miles 3 track days and 2 long rolling road sessions.

Without doubt, Acousta-fil is the stuff to use. Paul (907) uses it in his cans and it is by far the best. It will last 10 times longer than fibreglass as it is a continuous weave rather than lots of fibre fragments compressed together.
It takes a little while to expand into the shape of the can (needs heat to activate it) but it gives a lovely deep, mellow tone.
You buy it from Paul or find it at the shows and to fill a 6" can costs about £20-25 - well worth the money and you will probably never have to pack it again.
