Has anybody done a trackday with open pit lane at this venue?
Also, is it possible to do on slick tyres?
Your views
please .
Cheers Eric.

Owelly & few others have done some trackdays there, I've been round the short circuit a few times in a kart & it'll be tight enough for a full size car.

I've done several days at Teesside with the NE7ER's. Each time we've hired the whole track for a day and divided the cost between how ever many cars we get.

It's a great little track for 7's and the complex is quite complex......

As for slicks, Bob is reasonable. (He's allowed slicks on every day we've done, even allowed a Jedi single seater on once, and a 7.5 ton truck........)

If you are in any doubt, give him a ring, he's not a monster!

Another "thumbs up" for Teeside.
Great little venue for our type of car.
Slicks are not a problem AFAIK.
Lots of videos on YouTube.
Our next visit is pencilled in for Friday July 9th.
They also run evening sessions on Saturdays.
Always open pit lane.
See you there.
Geoff.

Do it, it's a great circuit for our sort of car. I've done it 4/5 times now. Video of most recent outing here: -

No problem with slicks, seen many cars running them. Expect to be running them myself next time I pay a visit

Brilliant track and quite technical - with limited run-off especially on the opposite camber left hander near the Club House...

Regular modifications keep the track fresh and noise limits are pretty relaxed too.

I doubt Slicks will be a problem for the Officials but the long right hand hairpin might be too much for your engine if you get Oil Surge, especially on Slicks

Just do it, be careful and enjoy though I think I would use Road Tyres first!!!

I thought the other two would have done a trackday before now in 2010 - hmmm....
