Just had a Crank grind on a V8 crank £150+vat,does not include the bearings.
Is this about right?
They also removed the sludge trap plugs and cleaned them out.

I got quoted about 6-8 quid per journal by a local firm in Southampton, so would have come out about 100+vat assuming they counted it as 12 journals.

Thanks, I suppose with the extra work they have done on the sludge traps and crack detecting its not far off then.
