But seriously though........
I thnik it's around 220kg ish (185 for the engine + 35 for the type 9).
But I'm sure someone will be along with more accurate figures.
JB
I believe it is easier to cut the slam panel and lift the car off the engine.
I thought they were about 160k but that's completely unsubstantiated...

So if that's right then I'm not too far off alex

I don't think you can weld up a hernia, even for insurance purposes.

two mates and a scaffold pole lifted mine out, still foooking heavy though even with 3 of us on it.... mind yer toes !!
cheers.
the engine crane ive just bought will lift 250kg in the furthest position, so should be able to lift it with ease.
PS if anyone is after a 15K mile 2L pinto let me know, as i wil have one for sale by next week.
Well if the second link is correct then I am wrong. According to the engine & tranny info under technical it says the Pinto is 418lbs?? Yet under
the other link in spiderman's post it says 135kg (approx 300lbs!) Confused or what?
If anyone has actually weighed one pleeeease let me know
Whichever, the 250kg crane will lift it no problem
