Fuel tank leak
snapper - 19/7/10 at 05:18 PM

Spent the last 2 days fixing a sealing problem with the fuel level sender, doing some electrics and preparing to fit the new swirl pot and lift pump.
Whilst fitting the new rear fog I could smell fuel round the bottom right edge of the tank, checked all the pipes and seals, dried the damp bit and started looking for the leak, seems it comes from the welded edge about 1 inch up from the bottom.
Looks like a tank out and weld job but is there any majic potion can use for the outside to seal it?
