hi all
went to euro car parts to get some gearbox oil for type 9 box
they have given me semi synthetic ep75w90 to specification API GL4 & API GL5
can anyone confirm if this is ok since i thought it was just GL4 mineral oil

That's what i use

i used ATF and that gave a nice change

are you draining it out and refilling or just topping up?
I did alot of reading into which oil to use on here, passionford and talking to mates. The geneal opinion was that if you are topping up use whats already in use and dont mix.
If your starting fresh then use what ever you think is best. Some use any semi some use gl4 some use atf. Personally i use gl4 75-90. Comma oil comes highly recommended.
