Sierra dif drive shafts

Question, iwant to use the above on a Aries chassie etc,but ive been informed you need to use the lobro joints so you can fit rear disc brakes. Obviously ive got the slide in shafts,is there any way of modifying these to accept discs ?
I understand the lobro joints are getting pretty thin on the ground.

you can get a conversion kit to allow you to fit discs.

Do you have standard sierra shafts or specially shortened ones from aries?

(unless aries has changed the design, you need specially shortened shafts & if you could, i'd really appreciate it if you could tell me the distance between the faces that you mount the wheel on).

I changed mine from lobro to push in shafts and just used a couple of adaptor plates from mk to mount the calipers

Hi Mike,no i have the std shafts at present. Yes Aries do still shorten theirs.

Hi Jase, why did you change from lobro ? to push in,its usually the other way round.

So just an adapter plate an disc bits an bobs your uncle ?

Mike you could ring the guy at Aries i found him very informative an helpful, i reckon his shafts are the width of his escort axle as well.

The diff was a 3.62 and no good for the pinto i had in at the time, it was doing about 120mph at 4000 rpm in 5th, so i swapped to a 3.9 which gave better acceleration..... throwing the pinto away and fitting a zx10 made a much bigger difference though . swapping the diff and shafts was pretty much straight forward using the adaptor plates from mk.
