anyone running and xe on bike carbs
water jacket hole in block/manifold plate
what have been done to use these
if thats clear
hi mate,
I'm running mine on zx9rs via a bogg bros manifold.
I tapped two holes in my manifold to match the two holes in the head. I fitted my temp gauge sender into one and a take off (bypass) hose to the
other.
hope this helps.

any chance of a pic , please

also if I did it again I'd put the temp sender underneath the take off hose.

By "correct" I'm guessing you mean "oem" position
. My temp gauge has an integral sender which is too large to fit in the
original position.
It was easier to tap the manifold and insert it there. It does read slightly cool though..
Yeah just to clarify, you don't have to fit a sender there BUT it's a good idea to fit a take off water pipe. That way you get some flow
through the head and it helps bleeding especially if you've blocked off the heater pipe
