How much oil does a stock 2.0L Zetec motor hold?

Standard sump Mondeo 2.0L holds 4.25L. Focus, Escort or shortened sump Zetec may be different due to different sump shape but the routine is to fill up to the max mark on the original dipstick for the engine which brings the oil level to its maximum permissible height avoiding having the crank thrashing the oil to a foam.
