hi bud,

do you have evidence of when it was produced in 1995, i.e. what month?

If no, or if it was after august then you'll need to be fitting a cat to get it through IVA. Otherwise you should be able to get it through without.

like craig says you'll need to be able to prove when it was made - but since its a ford, take the first 2 letters of the engine code and looke them up here: linky
you might still need some offical letter to state that, but some people have managed with the page out of that cataloge

Thanks for the replies guys, ive managed to locate the "new keeper supplement"which states it was registered in 08 03 1995.......and i do have a copy of the reg docits at work which will show the vin number.

its the engine number thats important so best to check whats actually stamped on the block (incase the donor has had a new one at somepoint in its life)

Engine number is stamped on the block nearside beside the VR sensor.

You need to send it to Ford Technical Dept to get a letter to prove when it was built.
