Should I buy the matching fuel pump for my bike carbs or will a red top and filter king be better? Will the bike carb be sufficient when I'm hitting 8000rpm on a 16v. Ta
bike carbs = bike pump
Just my opinion and they would be fine at that revs.
Cheers
Rich
As above ^
Any bike pump will be fine.
Most of them are made by the same manufacturer anyway.

Slightly off topic, but what about bike throttle bodies? Bike pump or car??
Cheers
Am I correct that the bike pump wont need a regulator?
My concern with the bike pump was that the carbs and pump are off a 900 cc engine that may rev to a max of 12000 rpm but on a 2100 cc 16v engine
revved to 8000 rpm thats equivalent to 28000rpm air flow on the bike!!?
Just wondering if it'll be able to cope when flat out?
Or am I way off the track with my conception??

I have an interupter type pump on my present pinto which works in the same way. It's a bit poo tho running dry at any length of WOT.
Not sure what to do??? whats the delivery rate of a ninja zx9 fuel pump? I'd need at least 150L/hr to be safe.
