What exactly was she pointing at?
The tight fit of the hand-brake drum?
The fact that you have gone back to the 4x4 route?

Came out of a runner for a tdi conversion, insurance for the lad...

It was complete, every thing on it, I've stripped off tons of pipe work and the thing wonks of petrol, so fingers crossed!

Great idea, I have just bought 2 type 9-gearboxes. I had to explain to SWMBO,that if they are scarce now, just think how scarce they will bein 7 years time, when JR will be 17 and hopefully wanting a Locost. I have a chassis hidden away for him allready!
