Im presently involved with helping someone get a countach replica running.It has a Rover v 8 in it but no rads and limited space to fit them.He has
been asking on the Lambo forums and has been advised to use bespoke rads or Porsche boxter rads etc.I think he would get away with a couple of polo
rads mounted in the side ducts and correctly ducted in.
The experts on the Lambo replica forums tell him that they are notorious for over heating and need specialist rads although the old magazine articles
i have found mention using Austin maxi rads etc.
Any ideas?

I've built a countach, rover V8. I used 2 maxi rads with electric fans. It worked with the pipes running from engine to first rad, then to next
rad and back to engine.
Some people split the engine pipe to each rad. Both my rads had individual kenlowe swithes to control each fan. So one fan would come on before the
other.
The best option is to use bespoke rads though. They fit better and you can have bleed off pipes for your header tank.
I dont think the budget will stretch to bespoke rads,this guy bought the car unaware of the amount of work required and needs to pay out for the
majority of the work that needs doing as hes never built a car before or done a lot of work on cars.
I think the polo rads will fit in the available space and they must be better than maxi ones so will probably go for them,I can make the
interconnecting pipes and plumb the header tank in to them that way but will have to decide whether series or parallel plumbing is best.
I then will have to sort the engine installation, gear linkage and electrics and have a mate who is doing the bodywork and running gear for him.

Good luck! Not the easiest kit to build. I spent most of my time sorting the bodywork and getting the doors to fit correctly.
This one looks as if the body work will be the worst job, it has been on the road but was not built to a very high standard.I think it is probably a
collection of bits from various sources now although it does have a reg no and is correctly registered apparently.
I always fancied one in the 1980s when they were all the rage so am happy to provide some help with it as long as i can get the relevant info.
