Recent acquisition (diff)

Well, after loaning a friend my LSD to put in his Westie whilst my build took shape (his old one was knackered), i've finally sourced a replacement.

eBay diff linky

Looking at the eBay link, I've suddenly been overcome with post-winning stress. It occurred to me that I never actually asked the seller what ratio it was. I need a 3.62lsd to match up to my pre-programmed DD2 Lite digidash.

So, ever-hopefull, I e-mailed the guy asking for codes to check the ratios on the sticky thread in the transmission section. This is the reply I received.... "Hi, when i removed th back plate i miss placed the tag so i dont know the ratio sorry, the only numbers i can see are 83804026be 78084 hope this helps". Can anyone tell me what ratio it might be? I'd be amazed if it was a direct match to my requirements, but even so I can still find a use for it somewhere no doubt.

All input greatly received!

its writen on the crown wheel if he's had the the back plate off....

90% sure it Will be a 3.6 most are but it it is a 3.9 a swap would be easy.
If it is any other ratio your in the money

for £100 it doesnt matter if its the wrong ratio, you'll not lose money on it. But nearly all are 3.62 anyway.

If you're running a zetec you might find the 3.6 a bit too long, I would of thought a 3.9 or 4.1 would be more suited.
