steel tubing for bushings
Johneturbo - 13/10/10 at 02:37 PM

i've been looking into using polybushings for mounting my ZZR14 engine

from here http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/Energy-Suspension-Universal-Link-Flange-Type-Bushings.asp

but as it's from the US they use inches rather than mm

the size i'm after is 1 1/2 (38.1mm) inner dia with 3mm thickness, length isn't a problem oh-er as i can cut to fit

anyone know where i can buy such a size looked on ebay but they all state the OD not ID

Wall thickness x 2 + I.D= O.D = 1 3/4"x1/8" or 44mm x 3mm ish

What you need is 1 3/4" x 10gauge tube. Not sure if they make tube that size, but worth a punt round. HTH Ray

i have found a place that does 1 3/4 X10 gauge

which if i'm right and going by the formula

is 44.5mm - 3.2 10 gauge = 38.1 = 1.5"
just don't know if i have to buy a shipment full! i only need 6x 1.9" lenght
