Oil sender conundrum
snapper - 17/10/10 at 10:22 AM

I have a new oil cooler take off with built in thermostat, this has removed my oil temp sender from an inline adaptor, I now need to relocate it.
The standard oil pressure take off in the block has the standard oil pressure light switch and oil pressure sender off a straight adaptor.
The sump is a modified RS2000 with a metric M12 plug.
The current oil temp sender is either 5/8 unf
I don't mind buying another sender and or some adaptors but am lost as where to go next?
Any ideas?

Thank you both, the sump plug and new 1/8" npt sender is the way I will do it.

Won't the sender make ground clearance an issue - I mean the sump is usually the lowest point on a CEC (it certainly is on mine)
