hi guys,
i have a ford gen 2 coil pack but i can't find any labelling as to which terminal goes to which cylinder?
Does anyone have a diagram? are the terminals the same as the gen 1 terminals

If by gen1 and gen2 you are refering to the different style of HT lead connectors then the primary side connector and pinout is exactly the same on both.
Centre pin is +12V and the pins either side are the ground for their adjacent coils. Cou can see the coil shape underneath.
not the electrical terminals, the coil output terminals that connect to the spark plugs via the HT leads.
if looking from above and the electrical connection is on the left (pointing west as if looking at a compass) would the following be correct
top left: Connects to Cylinder 1 Spark Plug
top right: Connects to Cylinder 4 Spark Plug
botton left: Connects to Cylinder 3 Spark Plug
botton right: Connects to Cylinder 2 Spark Plug

can anyone give a definative answer?
Both. It's a wasted spark coil pack, 1 and 4 are connected internally, as are 2 and 3, so each pair is interchangeable.
