has anyone got a modded 1.8 cvh sump as the 1 i have got is rotten as an old pear. or do you know where i can get 1 from shortened or not. and will a mondeo sump fit if so which one.

with the sump worth more than an engine its going to be a hard find.

How much are these sumps worth nowadays?
I may have 2 or 3, complete with oil pick-up pipes, stashed away.
Can the mighty Ford no longer supply them ?

Not promising they will still be there, as shared a shed with a MK2 Escort owner for a while, but will search this week !

I just paid £30 for one (pretty good condition. As in not rusty, but looks scruffy, which is to be expected )
Came with oil pickup and spreader bar thingys.
Must be the cheapest option for lowered sumps??
