Malc, Yorkshire Engines. Do a search.

It depends on the price bracket/age of motor you are looking at.

Newish and expensive then I have heard very good stuff about malc

mid range then look to buy a swapped out engine package 2nd hand, as you know everything works as it should - they come up on here from time to time.

Cheap - ebay gamble

I was on a really tight budget so I bought my blade lump off ebay - its been faultless.

I bought a 1988 CBR1000F from ebay for £400, took it for a test ride before I parted with my readies as it has high-ish mileage. Stripped it down to find it still had honing marks from a rebore just needed new timing chain tensioners, got a lot of my outlay back by selling the bits I didn't need.

Another vote for Malc from me, you cant ring ebay when you cant make it run !!

i sould have a 1998 900 fireblade engine package for sale in the next few days will be £600 for everything to run the engine

Malc every time for me, faultless and as already said he is on the end of the phone for info and help.

everyone who has used malc at yorkshire engines seems to recommend him so try him.

i got an bike in need of repair off ebay. i paid £600 for it (zzr1100 1993) and then i broke it up and sold all the bits i didnt need for £595

so the engine, exhuast, wiring loom, and few other bits cost me £5 :O) pretty pleased with that price lol
