Zetec Clutch and Cover Question
FatChapChipChop - 20/11/10 at 12:39 PM

Hi all;

In the past, I've bought a lightened modified 1.8 Zetec flywheel from Scholar redrilled to accept a Pinto cover and clutch.

This time. I'm building a more road going car. I have a 1.8 flywheel, but I wondered if anyone can tell me what cover plate could be used without redrilling, and what clutch plate to go for with it?

I have been told a Mk1 Focus RS kit will do the job, but that's a very expensive option ...

Cheers !!

Mk1 Mondeo clutch with a Capri CT133 release bearing.

Thats my setup behind my ST170 with 1.8 flywheel.

Thanks guys;

So, just so I have this right ..
1. Standard Mk1 Mondeo Clutch Cover and Cluthc Plate to use with a Type 9 gearbox.
2. Capri release bearing (as it's a bit more spaced that Sierra item).

It seems so simple !! ..

And .. Hello again SteveBubs !! ... (I never went away, just slid below the parapet) ..
