That's what I bought but my sender thread doesn't fit it, wondered if there was anything in the block that could be used instead?

Mark

PS - If not I will speak to Chris to see if there is an adapter that will fit the sender and then then housing.

I would have thought some kind of adaptor would be available.

Hows the install going anyway?

I havent done much to my engine since I bought it, I plan to rebuild it over january before fitting tho.

Have you sourced a bellhousing and any other parts yet?

What are you planning to do for induction and engine management?

I had a nice raceline order turn up yesterday which was their sump, oil housing, water rail, inlet manifold (for webber 45's). Today I ordered the cable clutch bellhousing from RWD motorsport so will have a few days over Christmas fitting things

I am keeping webbers as the induction for the moment as I don't have a return fuel feed and I already have the webbers. I will then go OMEX with the ECU I think but not sure whether to buy the basic one for the webber set up or get one ready for injection as I might do that in a few years.

Still need to get alternator mounting kit, throttle position sensor, crank position sensor, lightened flywheel and clutch and then I think I will nearly be there.

PS - no it's not really lowcost I did a pinto to zetec swap on a previous car and did it cheap and then bought all the nice parts after, which costs even more. Decided to buy the bits I wanted straight away this time rather than double up on cheaper bits first just to get it in the car.

Bloody ell.....that cant have been cheap.

The Raceline stuff does look very nice tho

any particular reason for not goin for the hydraulic clutch?

I plan to fit bike throttle bodies with Omex ECU, Im a fan of webbers as I had these on my pinto, but I wanted to try something different with injection.

Did you engine not come with a crank position sensor already?

Keep us updated with photos and the like....always good to see new shiney engine bits

No, it's not cheap, but it is reliable and it looks nice

I didn't go hydrolic clutch as I fitter floor mounted pedals earlier this year (the 3GE ones) and it is a cable clutch. Apart from hacking a lot about it is easier to go the cable route and there is no real disadvantage that I can see. I would have liked to have gone injection but cant see the point of the additional cost given I have the 45's and would rather spend that money on other shiney parts.

The guy that took it out of the car had unbolted the crank position sensor and I threw it away by accident! not ideal, but I don't think they cost much.

Will post some pics when I get it fitted.
