hi my winter plans for my kit is a eaton roots supercharger for my 1.8 zetec if any one on here has done this before all coments welcome

Ive had a look and cant really see how you can get one in there with the steering linkage.

Im doing this on a renault engine, but its a low compression engine as opposed to the Zetec.

I would imagine youll need to follow the same build plans for a zetec turbo.

i have had some input that says if i keep the boost to 15 psi or less i can leave the internals

just got a hold of some 2.0 cams to compliment the supercharger

I would at least change the rod bolts,for ARP items.These are the weak
link in the zetec.
I'm busy building a turbo motor and have so far fitted HD bearings with ARP
bolts and am waiting for a decompression plate to lower the compression.
15 psi boost with standard internals sounds a bit high to me.I wouldnt
run more than about 8 psi.
