About 10 years ago i bought a steel flywheel for a mini
ive had it so long i forgot if it was for a pre-engaged or inertia starter.
when i went to the mini spares website to find out
the site stated that steel flywheels were not balanced.
my question is do steel flywheels need balanced? (standard rev limit)
I would have though the thinking behind NOT balancing at manufacture was that the crank, flywheel and clutch cover would be balanced together, drilling weight out of the flywheel to achieve most of the balancing
