Anyone know if a 7" push in diff can be converted to bolt on using the flanges from a 7.5"??

A friend of mine used push in shafts from a 7" diff, there are some clearance issues with the flange end touching the planet gear shaft, it can be made to fit with some machining

Not sure what u mean there, all I want to know is if they fit or not, AKA are the 7.5" ones the same as bolt on flanges from a 7"
